Please join us for a short workshop on the topic of laboratory autonomy development. Our workshop features invited presentations from Robert Waelder of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and Long Qi of Ames National Laboratory. Dr. Waelder will highlight AFRL efforts to develop and deploy laboratory orchestration solutions across processes including chemical vapor deposition, additive manufacturing, and flow chemistry. Dr. Qi will discuss the development of an autonomous chemical synthesis laboratory at Ames towards accelerating the discovery of new manufacturing processes. This will be followed by a panel discussion exploring their experiences developing laboratory autonomy and the future of the field.
