The two Cerebras CS-2 systems are scheduled to be taken offline on Tuesday, August 12, to facilitate their replacement with four Cerebras CS-3 systems.

The process of replacing the CS-2 systems is expected to take a month or longer. Throughout its duration, access to a CS-3 system in the Cerebras cloud is available on request.

Any files saved to the nfs shares /home, /projects, and /software will be preserved across the upgrade. However, any files saved elsewhere in the Cerebras cluster will be lost.
