What you need to do
Review the different allocation award programs and apply to the one that best supports your research needs.
If your project has already been created, skip to Request an Account.
If you've never had an award, Director’s Discretionary (DD) is the best place to start.
The ALCF is one of two U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Leadership Computing facilities in the nation. ALCF provides researchers with high-performance computing resources to enable scientific breakthroughs that address global challenges.
The ALCF offers three allocation award programs through which users can access our resources: Director’s Discretionary (DD), INCITE, and ALCC.
If you are a new ALCF user or relatively new to High-Performance Computing (HPC), you should consider applying to our Director’s Discretionary program.
The INCITE and ALCC allocation award programs require a two-part review of all proposals: a peer review by an international panel of experts and a computational-readiness review. For more details, visit the INCITE and ALCC websites.
